Visiting South Florida? Are you a Miami Dolphins Fan visiting the South Florida area? Here are some suggestions to make your trip an eventful one!
Collectibles/Merchandise • Dolphins Pro Shop - located at the training facility. Just about every Dolphins item known to man. 1-800-553-7152. You will find more items by visiting their Pro Shop website through MiamiDolphins.com, but it is a great place to go if you're in Davie, FL. The prices are a little high, but there is a 10% discount for Dolfan Club members and Season Ticket holders. Very friendly staff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! • Sawgrass Mills Mall - 12801 West Sunrise Blvd., Sunrise, FL 33323. This is Florida's largest retail and entertainment center, featuring more than 350 stores. The mall features a few sports stores that offer Dolphins merchandise and you can always find a good deal or two at the VF Factory Outlet there.
• Dolphin Stadium - See the place where legends roamed and future superstars are being made. Better yet, catch a Phins game! • Dolphins Training facility - You may can catch a practice if it's the right time of the year. • The Orange Bowl - See the stadium where vintage Miami history was made. Hotels • Marriott Renaissance, Plantation/Davie, FL. This new hotel is right off of 595 at the Pine Island Rd exit. This is now the team hotel for games and the place where the rookies stay during camp. This is a very nice hotel and it is conveniently located near the training camp. The hotel features a nice restaurant, Starbucks, and free internet access for guests. This would be your best bet for a hotel if it is in your price range. • Shula's Resort and Don Shula Hotel, Miami Lakes, FL. -There is a resort and a hotel here. Shula's has a top rated fitness center and an average golf course. A Shula's Steak House is located at the resort and a Shula's 2 is at the hotel. Shula's 2 offers a Monday Night Football party that includes a Dolphin player/alumni guest.

• WQAM, which is AM 560 on your radio dial, is the Dolphins official flagship station and you will typically get plenty of Dolphins talk on this station! Some of the hosts include former Dolphin Jim "Mad Dog" Mandich.. The Dolphins games are also broadcast live on this station. • 790 The Ticket Sports Radio. This was the Dolphins station for a couple of years, but even though it's not anymore there is usually plenty of Dolphins talk all year including the Dan LeBatard show.
