From an article by Alex Marvez of the Ft. Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel:

New Dukes of Hazzard

Backup safeties Scott McGarrahan and Trent Gamble are the Good Ol’ Boys of the secondary.

Inspired by the Dukes of Hazzard, Dolphins cornerback Patrick Surtain gave Gamble and McGarrahan nicknames of Bo and Luke Duke when the team practiced two weeks ago against Tennessee in Nashville.

“It just popped into my head,” Surtain said. “They look like them, and they’re always together. That name is going to stick with them for a long time. And they answer to it.”

McGarrahan (Bo) and Gamble (Luke) say they don’t mind their new monikers, which is a healthy attitude considering the ribbing that usually takes place between the team’s defensive backs.

“It’s all in good humor,” Gamble said. “I have to give it to them. It’s a good name.”
