season of the 1972 Miami
Dolphins, was presented to Coach Don Shula by the members of the Dolphins
team. It in turn was
presented to the Pro Football Hall of Fame by Coach Shula for the specific
purpose of inclusion in this display."

established a new team rushing record for a single season (2,960 yards in 1972).
1987 enshrinees Csonka and Jim Langer were key elements of the Miami offensive
machine that year."

starting center and soon earned all-league acclaim. He played in six
straight Pro Bowls, three AFC championship games, and three Super Bowls."

quarterback to successfully wear eye glasses in National
Football League action. On display here are the glasses
Bob wore in the 1978 AFC NFL Hall of Fame Game
played across the street in Fawcett Stadium."
