The Miami Dolphins were finally able to come up with a big play at the end of the game to seal a victory. The Dolphins knocked off the Cincinnati Bengals 17-13 in Cincinnati Sunday. Reshad Jones came up with a huge interception on the Bengals final drive to seal the victory for the Miami Dolphins! Ryan Tannehill played well again for the Dolphins. The young QB finished the game 17/26 for 223 yds. He failed to throw a TD, but more importantly he didn’t throw an interception either.
Reggie Bush led the way on the ground for the Dolphins, finishing with 19 carries for just 48 yds, but he did find the endzone. Daniel Thomas also found the endzone, finishing with 10 carries for 29 yards. He left the game late in the 4th quarter once again after taking a big hit. Brian Hartline added 4 receptions for 59 yards. The story of the day was the Dolphin defense. They held the Bengals to 80 yards rushing, keeping their streak of consecutive opponents held under 100 yards rushing. Andy Dalton was 26/43 for 234 yards, but he was picked off twice and sacked 3 times.
This was a huge win for the Dolphins. They finally learned how to come up big late in the game. Now they have to get ready for the Rams at home before they head into their bye week. The Rams looked awfully good in their win over the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday Night. Their offense didn’t look too impressive against a good Cardinal defense, but the defense of the Rams looked outstanding. This game will be headlined with Jeff Fisher leading his Rams against the team that wanted him badly this offseason.
